The article discusses the interaction between MonaVie Active açai berry juice, and warfarin. The juice is sold in the U.S. as nutritional antioxidant that is responsible for maintaining health of the joints and heart. It is conjectured that MonaVie Active can cause variation of International Normalized Ratio in patients treated with the drug warfarin. Patients are therefore advised to avoid the drink when taking warfarin.
