ABSTRACT
The article provides information about the Australasian Maritime Institute. It is dedicated to providing maritime training and works for a National Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) accreditation and supervised operation. The institution is able to offer affordable subsidized training in line with Technical and Further Education (TAFE) fees. It also encourages retired or inactive seafarers back to a career at sea through offering courses that may update their knowledge and recognize their past experience.
