The author discusses the concerns of tourist anglers visiting the lakes of East Gippsland in Victoria. He states that they are not able to catch bream due to commercial fishing or man-made environmental factors. He criticizes the implementation of rules and regulations for the protection of spawning bream. He also discusses the drifting of Australia's tectonic plate from the Antarctic.
