ABSTRACT
The article offers information on several parasitic and tick-borne diseases that affect cattle and sheep in England. Diseases include acute bovine viral diarrhea virus infection, lungworm infection and avian intestinal spirochaetosis. Also cited are topics that appeared in disease surveillance report of Veterinary Laboratories Agency (VLA) for November 2009 including the outbreaks of fasciolosis, the prevalence of Salmonella dublin and swine influenza outbreak.
