ABSTRACT
A reprint of the article "Virtual Marketing," by Gienna Shaw is presented. It discusses the advantages of a marketing model called virtual agency, which depends on a combination of in-house employees and external resources, for hospitals in the U.S. Cost saving is cited as the major benefit of such model for hospitals. Also detailed are several factors that contribute to the success of a virtual agency which includes size, leadership and communication.
