In this article, the author offers information on sound engineer Robert Root's professional career. It is stated that his recording career began as an intern at Pat Amico's Studio Vegas. After the completion of his internship, he became the chief engineer of Studio Vegas. He later joined SonSongs as a chief engineer. During the time Studio Vegas was sold to The Killers, who called back Root to work with them.
