The article reports that Bridgestone Americas Inc. has signed a deal with the organization Major League Baseball (MLB) to be the official tire brand and sponsor of the league. John Baratta, an executive at Bridgestone, states that the deal is part of the company's efforts to strengthening its Firestone tire brand and mentions that the sport will help in enhancing the brand's consumer awareness.
