ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to chemical construction industry in 2010. Dutch petrochemical company LyondellBasell Industries AF SCA has reported that its earnings has declined by 62% in November from October levels in 2009. Fourteen chemicals have been added to the European Union's candidate list of substances of very high concern (SVHC). Dow Chemical Co. has said that it is not at risk despite a report that it will be a possible target of a computer attack originating in China.
