ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the issues concerning the role of the federal insurance regulator in insurance regulation in the U.S. It cites an analysis conducted by Wolters Kluwer Financial Services which suggested that there are more than 10,000 pieces of legislation introduced in 2009 have the potential impact on the insurance industry. It also adds that over 30% of the activity affects all lines of business.
