ABSTRACT
The article features animator Pendleton Ward who developed the animated short film "Adventure Time with Finn and Jake." He was nominated for an Annie Award for Best Short in 2008 and developed it into a new series on television. According to television series executive producer Fred Seibert, the genius of original short was in the manner in which Ward was able to deal with main characters Finn and Jake shifted from one subject to the next.
