ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the impact of machine-to-machine (M2M) market on the wireless industry in the U.S. It cites that M2M complicates the imposition of service charges of carriers. It notes that carriers work with M2M application service providers and consumers without aggregator reliance. It mentions that carriers are challenged whether which among the code division multiple access (CDMA) and global system for mobile communications (GSM) technology are compatible with M2M services.
