Market Analysis and Development Forecast for BPA in China

The article presents the forecast on the status of bisphenol A (BPA) in China. It predicts that demand for BPA will reach to 600 000 - 650 000 tons as well as capacity to 760 000 tonnes per annum (t/a) in 2012. It notes that BPA produces epoxy resins (ER), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) heat stabilizers, and plasticizers. It cites that the country achieved rapid business development on the epoxy resin industry. Moreover, it stresses that the success of BPA depends on the polycarbonate industry.
