ABSTRACT
The article summarizes several literature related to the export market share of Hungary. It is said that export performance stands as the main driver of economic growth in Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries. It adds that integration, openness and intra-industry trade play important roles in the correspondence of business cycles. It is also noted that a further convergence of export structure in the country can be achieved upon joining the euro area.
