The article reports that a committee on community banking issues formed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) will hold its second meeting on January 28, 2010. The committee is examining issues relating to community banks created by the global financial crisis and recession, including bank examination, interest rate risk and resolution of failed banks.
