Dealmakers Survey Reflects Improving Picture

The article reports on the results of the 2009 Year End DealMakers Survey released by ACG and Thomson Reuters which show that strategic activity could improve in 2010. It states that mergers and acquisitions (M&A) professionals believe that the M&A environment would pick up in the first half of 2010 to be led by strategic acquirers and distressed sales leading the way. However, it notes that majority of dealmakers considered M&A environment as fair or poor.
