Country Report
The article presents a discussion about investments and trade in Spain. The government knows the importance of foreign investments to its economy. There has been minimal privatization in the country because the government has sold majority of its take in state-owned companies from 1996 to 2007. There are also free trade zones in Spain catering to industries such as manufacturing and packaging.
