ABSTRACT
The article reports that during December, 2009, credit-card delinquencies declined for five of the six largest U.S. card issuers. Among the top six only J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. saw its delinquencies grow. Overall the industry's delinquency rate was the lowest seen since September, 2009. Moody's Investors Service said card writeoffs could reach 13% by the middle of 2010.
