ABSTRACT
An essay is presented on presidential separation of powers system. It presents a brief information about the European Union (EU) and examines its need for a presidential separation of powers if it would become a federation. It presents the reasons that EU should consider if it would adapt the presidential separation of powers system such as the need of EU to be stable in its executive governance structure, need for a democratically elected chief executive and others.
