ABSTRACT
This article reports on the purchase of a minority stake in identity theft security firm CSIdentity by Investcorp Technology Partners in 2010. The investment firm acquired the stake for 35 million U.S. dollars. The firm had only raised 3.4 million U.S. through angel investors prior to the deal. CSIdentity plans to continue dealmaking with its private equity (PE) partners.
