Chipperfield's Sudan museum

The article reports that British architect David Chipperfield has designed a museum in an archeological site in Naga, Sudan where a religious center that flourished during the Meroitic Empire in 200 B.C. to 300 A.D. is located. The archeological excavation began in 1995 with funding from the Berlin State Museum. The museum building, which is to be constructed near the Temple of Amun, is expected to be completed by 2011.
