ABSTRACT
The article reports that the multinational utility company Centrica is involved in a struggle to take over offshore energy firm Venture Production in Great Britain. It notes that Centrica made an offer of 845 pence per share for Venture, but the board of the offshore energy firm declined the bid for it is too low. According to the two largest investors of Venture, the offer of Centrica undervalued the company.
