ABSTRACT
The article reports on the completion of the financial restructuring process of television station and network owner ION Media Networks Inc. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in May 2009. It emerges from bankruptcy protection by obtaining a 150 million U.S. dollars in equity growth funding from the bondholders owning it. Among them are Black Diamond Capital, Trilogy Capital and Avenue Capital.
