ABSTRACT
The article discusses the two types of home-loan refinancing programs of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for veterans in the U.S. in 2009. The VA Cash-Out Refinancing Loans is a program for veterans wanting to take some or all of the equity they have established in their home. The VA Interest Rate Reduction Refinancing Loan (IRRRL) program offers a way for homeowners of VA to lower their interest rate with no or little costs.
