ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the financial performance in the metal service center industry in the U.S. in 2009. It highlights the status of fabricated metal products, observed as the led used product of both steel and aluminum. October shipment of steel and aluminum from service centers has recorded a rise with inventories increased slightly. October steel imports in the country is seen to upturn by 29 percent, viewed as the highest monthly total import figure since February.
