ABSTRACT
The article features the innovations of cable firm Comcast Corp. in 2009 in the U.S. Among the multiple system operators (MSO) that rolled out the DOCSIS 3.0 technology in cable systems, Comcast has led in speeding innovation in the sector. Moreover, its Fancast Xfinity Television (TV) offers subscribers programming from different networks, while its deal with the NBC Universal help MSO more aggressive in interactive and addressable advertising space.
