ABSTRACT
This article presents information about the use of Twitter in the classroom. Carol L. Tilley, a professor of library science and information science, believes that the limited number of usable characters can lead to creative strategies by students. The article reports that Eric Sheninger, a New Jersey high school principal, has been teaching his staff how to use Twitter and students are encouraged to use the microblogging service in Spanish and biology research projects.
