ABSTRACT
This article offers tips to protect your online privacy. It is suggested that users learn about privacy issues for the digital era, such as global positioning capabilities of cellular telephones and the use of social networking information by law enforcement agencies. The American Library Association has developed a Web site that offers privacy-related news. Other ways to protect your online privacy are described.
