ABSTRACT
The article reports on the Geoscientists Without Borders (GWB), a program launched by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) Foundation. It states that the GWB program intends to apply geophysical technology to communities' needs. It notes that a team of Boise State geoscientists along with collaborators at Chiang Mai University will conduct hands-on training in Southeast Asia in January 2010. It adds that GWB entails a week-long field phase, a week of analysis, and a technical report.
