ABSTRACT
The article discusses a public opinion poll of U.S. consumers conducted by Maritz Inc. on credit card legislation signed in 2009 by President Barack Obama which becomes effective on February 22, 2009. Half of those polled felt the law would have little or no impact on their personal finances. The poll found a relatively high level of awareness of the provisions of the law.
