ABSTRACT
This article reports on the plan to sell International Absorbents Inc., a maker of pet care and industrial products, to private equity firm Kinderhook Industries in the U.S. in 2010. Kinderhook will acquire the company for 4.75 U.S. dollars per share. The sale is expected to close in April. CapitalWest Partners had been selected as the financial advisor to the committee and the board of directors of Kinderhook.
