ABSTRACT
The article deals with the efforts of Carole Perry, co-chair of Radio Club of America (RCA), John Dettra, chairman of the scholarship committee of RCA, and Carroll Hollingsworth, an RCA director, to ensure the relevance of RCA. It details an RCA initiative spearheaded by Perry which is designed to incite interest in radio communications as a career. Dettra works to help amateur radio operators become radio engineers of tomorrow. Also discussed is the work of Hollingsworth with the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials.
