ABSTRACT
The article presents opinion of various executives on the state of the automobile industry as expressed at the Society of Plastics Engineers' 2009 Automotive Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Conference, at Sterling Heighs, Michigan. Maurice Sessel, vice president of advanced engineering for International Automotive Components LLC, believes that auto makers and suppliers will have to change the way they do business due to small production volumes.
