ABSTRACT
The article informs that Kenda Rubber Industrial Co. Ltd. is planning to move some radial passenger and light truck tire capacity to Taiwan from a plant in China in the next 6 to 12 months. The firm is doing so in response to recent imposition of 35-percent antidumping duties by the U.S. government on Chinese-made consumer tires. The company is also searching for locations to build its seventh tire plant and Asia is the most likely location for the factory.
