ABSTRACT
The article reports on the launch of the world's first commercial LTE network mobile services in Oslo, Norway, and Stockholm, Sweden by the European operator TeliaSonera AB. It notes that the network is capable of delivering up to 100 Megabits per second which was based on the 3Gpp's standards for LTE and evolved packet core technologies. It mentions that LTE network was launched in successful cooperation with Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. and the Telefon AB L. M. Ericsson.
