ABSTRACT
The article reports on the request of Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) for comments regarding the reform of Universal Service Fund through effective competion that would lead to the decrease of support payments in the U.S. It is said that FCC offers unitl January 22, 2010 for NTCA's comments on the reform. It is noted that on November 5, 2009 NCTA has told FCC on the means for the agency to save two billion dollars.
