EN's Animal Welfare Meat Labeling Guide

The article presents an animal welfare meat labeling guide in the U.S. Under National Organic Program regulations, animals should be given access to pasture. Through a program of the Animal Welfare Institute, animals are able to engage in natural behavior. Products with natural and naturally raised label were defined by the Department of Agriculture as products that were processed and contained no artificial ingredient or color.
