ABSTRACT
The article discusses the pathways to efficiently process accounts payable (AP). It explains the factors to which the level of AP automation depends and the levels of automation including back-end document capture and archive, front end document capture and data entry, and front-end document capture and workflow. It also discuss strategies for additional automation, integration of enterprise resource planning and application, and content management foundation leveraging for savings.
