ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the goal of smaller insurers to partner with another firm to grow their product distribution channels in the U.S. It says that relationships based on partnership principles represent a powerful strategy for creating successful marketing, operational, and financial partnerships to harness the capacity for innovation in small and midsize carriers. It suggests smaller insurers to clearly define their needs, strengths and weaknesses prior to searching for a partnership deal.
