ABSTRACT
The article reports that the petition drive by the organization Californians for Fair Auto Insurance Rates has been restarted regarding a ballot measure enabling adjustment by insurers of auto premiums based on coverage history. Mercury General Corp. has provided support on such proposition. Drivers that maintain auto insurance coverage can be given lower premiums even when switching to a different insurer.
