ABSTRACT
The article reports on a call by city government officials for another economic recovery financial aid from the federal government in any jobs bill in 2009 in the U.S. These officials request extensions of Build America Bonds, global credit ratings for corporate and municipal bonds and funds for transportation and water infrastructure projects. It notes that these requests are noted in a letter from the National League of Cities which is intended for President Barack Obama.
