ABSTRACT
The article reports that Selene Residential Mortgage Opportunity Fund LP has been granted approval by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Jerry A. Funk to buy over 1,000 foreclosed residential properties from mortgage firm Taylor, Bean & Whitaker. Selene was founded by Lewis Ranieri, a pioneer in mortgage securitization.
