ABSTRACT
The article reports that PayPal Inc. had released a version of its person-to-person (p-to-p) payment software application (app) for the BlackBerry smartphone. PayPal had already developed similar apps for the iPhone and Google's Android. Richard K. Crone, of Crone Consulting LLC, is quoted commenting that the market for point of sale mobile payments is much larger than p-to-p.
