ABSTRACT
The article discusses weaknesses that still afflict the U.S. financial system in the aftermath of a financial crisis. The system for assigning ratings to securities has yet to be reformed. Several banks including Bank of America Corp. and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. have seen their assets grow substantially, suggesting that the government may consider them too big to fail.
