ABSTRACT
The article discusses the aspects of dedicated outdoor-air systems (DOAS) in industrial buildings. It mentions that DOAS supplies cooled outside air into buildings and assists facilities during the summer and winter seasons. It states that the outdoor-air unit will deliver an amount of conditioned outdoor air to cover the latent load of space. It notes that an evaluation of energy recovery, air temperature and control strategies are required to maximize savings from a DOAS.
