ABSTRACT
The article discusses the aspects of existing-builing commissioning (EBCx) in the U.S. The Building Commissioning Association has defined EBCx as a systematic process where facility improvement measures can be identified and implemented in investigating, analyzing and optimizing the performance of the building system. It states that EBCx would let the building systems meet its facility requirements and provide tools for continuous improvement of the system performance.
