ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the decrease in the advertisement expenditure in Great Britain by 9.6% in the fourth quarter of the year 2008. According to a study by the World Advertising Research Center (WARC), newspaper advertising experienced the biggest drop. The expenditure on Internet advertisements has continued to grow but with a more than halved rate of growth.
