ABSTRACT
The article reports on the inauguration of veterans affairs (VA) national pharmacy awards program. It states that the VA federal official has formally launched the award on October 28, 2009 in recognition of the member's outstanding participation in pharmacy practice, innovation, and program advancement. Gerald Cross of the Veterans Health Administration presented the Excellence in Pharmacy Practice Award to Susan H. Lee for her contribution in the surgical and intensive care unit team.
