ABSTRACT
The article explores the condition schizoaffective psychosis and how it links the transition from manic-depression to schizophrenia. A suggestion is made on the role that excess adrenalin plays in the manic state if it is not converted into adrenochrome. In relation to this, a manic state that is characterized by sensory illusions, and thought disorder is an indicator that adrenalin has been oxidized to adrenochrome. The study reveals that patients undergo gradual transition from a manic state to schizoaffective, and finally schizophrenia.
