6 Steps to Building an Effective Retirement Income Strategy

The article offers six steps in developing a more comprehensive retirement income solution for clients in the U.S. It suggests financial planners to gather information to customize the retirement income strategy of the clients. They should identify the income needs of their clients to be comfortable in taking risk. They are recommended to give their clients awareness that variable annuities are long-term investment vehicles for retirement purposes and are expected to fluctuate in terms of value. They should also evaluate the likelihood to be provided by the retirement income strategy before they will implement it to their client.
