ABSTRACT
The article reports on the political and economic risks of Cambodia. It states that former Thai premier Thaksin Shinawatra is offered with an asylum by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. Moreover, the 2009 real gross domestic product (GDP) growth of the country is expected to amount to 2.1%. Meanwhile, a new edict to address and regulate issues related to interconnectivity between mobile phone operators is passed by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.
